I use theoretical orientations such as Jungian depth psychotherapy, psychoanalytic interventions, & somatic approaches to understanding my clients and helping them connect to different unconscious fragments of themselves.
Together we will enter into a relationship that provides safety and support for investigating the underlying causes of distress. I am curious about how your mind works and how your experiences have shaped who you are today.
We all have things that we are uniquely suited to do, innate talents that when developed fulfill our sense of purpose in life. No matter what you’ve been through or how old you are, transformation is possible.
My role is to help you find your way back to your center where life again feels manageable, satisfying, & vibrant. Ultimately you’re the expert; yet each step of the way I will be there with you to collaborate & support your efforts.
I approach the work of therapy through relational, depth, psychoanalytic, and somatic orientations. I often incorporate mindfulness, breath, and body awareness into my practice and honor the interplay of mind, body, and spirit.
I act as an enlightened witness, reflecting back to you your own ability to heal, your strengths, your uniqueness, and support you in being with and working through the difficult, the painful, the unwanted places.
Through cultivating an accepting, non-judgmental atmosphere, we can explore your relationship with yourself and the world. We attend to the parts of you that need healing, and allow your life to transform.
My hope is that as individuals heal they engage with their environment in a more heart centered, open way and that in turn brings a healing element to their interpersonal relationships and their community at large.
I’m a depth psychotherapist based in San Francisco, California. In my practice, I work with individual adults, couples and families to dive beneath the surface-level issues to discover the underlying causes of distress.
